Interweaving between probability and contingency, the ‘Summer Romance’ GAN series embraces the human existence of circles and cycles. The past lives, déjà vu, and time ahead blend in the collective consciousness which is shared with the mastermind of AI. Anna says: “Summertime is never quite what we imagine it to be, and it is forever unattainable. The Summer of 2022 has come to an end, or it never really did?” This AI-Collaborative series is inspired by The Letter to the Future "Whenever We Start To Predict The Future, We End Up Describing The Past", which was written by the thought-leader Jehan Chu and illustrated by Anna Dart in Exquisite Workers´s BIC Star Edition (the quote can be found below).
The ‘Summer Romance’ collection consists of 90 artworks, each dedicated to a summer day and minted on Tezos and Ethereum blockchains on Objkt.com and SuperRare marketplaces.
Selected arts were created for the Tezaus event which celebrated the entrance of the Aussie community in Metaverse.
Perhaps the future is the clear shard of the past, a diamond sliver of compressed scars and experience, carbonized from eons of pressure into a near-elemental form. The future always looks sparkling and radiant, seemingly both perfect and inevitable, clear as pure light itself.
