In 2012 Anna noticed how the age of social media has changed us as a society making people less authentic and empathetic as they were less likely to take the time to understand another person's point of view when they can simply scroll past it. Empathy is best experienced when it is genuine and authentic, and when it comes from a place of understanding and compassion. Anna created the body of work which is heart warming, breath taking, soulful and represents the elements of humanity: pure sexuality, tenderness, cunning, and survival. Anna explores the questions of 'what is love', 'what makes us human', 'where are we going', and "where is the border in between the vulnerability and strength', recurring themes in the arts of Dart.
